First sentence: “On my bedside table, the clock flashes 03.03. I’m awake. I don’t know what’s woken me up, but now that I’m awake, I’m hungry.”
Last sentence: “Now things are back to boring, everyday normality. Like nothing ever happened here. But I know that it did.”

Summary: This is the story of how Izzy’s father announced that she was a woman and started her transition, and how Izzy dealt with it as a young teenager.

Opinion: This was a nice children’s book talking about how a parent’s transition can affect their child. I thought it was quite sweet and could recommend it!
